How we approach pricing
Every consulting project is different, so there's no one-size-fits-all pricing. But here's how we think about it:
Small Projects
1-10 hours of work: Simple integrations, basic automation, spreadsheet solutions, small scripts. Often $200-$2,000 depending on complexity.
Medium Projects
10-40 hours of work: Custom features, multi-system integrations, workflow automation, basic web applications. Typically $2,000-$10,000.
Large Projects
40+ hours of work: Complex applications, major integrations, custom platforms, comprehensive solutions. $10,000+ depending on scope.
Ongoing Support
Retainer or managed Care: Many clients add consulting to their managed Care plans for ongoing support, monthly improvements, and priority access.
Hosting
Hosting & infrastructure: Many custom solutions require hosting, servers, or managed backend services. We offer secure, scalable hosting options and will review requirements, pricing, and maintenance needs with you before any work begins. Ask about hosting.

How do I know if I need custom development or if there's already a solution?
That's exactly what we help figure out! Often there's an existing tool that can solve 80% of your problem with minimal customization. Other times, building something custom is actually cheaper and better than cobbling together multiple SaaS subscriptions. We'll be honest about what makes sense.
Do you sign NDAs?
Absolutely. We're happy to sign reasonable non-disclosure agreements before discussing sensitive business processes or proprietary systems.
How long does a typical project take?
Small projects (simple integrations, basic scripts) often take 1-2 weeks. Medium projects (custom features, workflow automation) typically take 2-6 weeks. Large projects (comprehensive solutions, complex applications) can take 2-4 months. We'll give you realistic timelines upfront.
What if I don't know exactly what I need?
That's totally normal! Most clients come to us with a business problem, not a technical specification. We'll talk through what you're trying to accomplish, ask the right questions, and propose practical solutions. You don't need to be technical—we translate business needs into technical solutions.
Can you maintain and update what you build?
Yes! Many clients add their custom solutions to our managed Care plans for ongoing support, updates, and improvements. Or we can train your team to maintain it themselves if you prefer.
Do I own what you build for me?
Yes. Any custom code or systems we build specifically for you belong to you. You own it, you control it, and you can take it elsewhere if needed (though we hope you won't!).
What if the project needs to change midway through?
Requirements change—we get it. We work iteratively and stay flexible. If scope changes significantly, we'll discuss the impact on timeline and cost. No surprise bills, but we'll make sure expectations stay aligned.
Can you work with my existing developer/agency?
Sure! We're happy to collaborate with your existing technical team, consult on specific challenges, or handle particular aspects of a larger project. We're not territorial—we just want to help solve problems.
What happens if something breaks after you build it?
We stand behind our work. If something we built has a bug or issue, we'll fix it. For ongoing support and monitoring, we recommend adding it to a managed Care plan. But we're not going to abandon you if something goes wrong.
Can you help with an idea I have for a startup/product?
Maybe! We occasionally work on early-stage product development, but we're selective. Our sweet spot is practical business solutions, not speculative ventures. That said, if you have a clear business model and realistic expectations, let's talk.
