TL;DR
Marshland Software helped Post Care Partners, a brand-new post-surgical home care business, go from a logo and a personal mission to a fully built website, brand identity, and complete digital setup.
The Background
Some clients come to you cold. Others come ready. This one came with a logo.
That's usually a good sign. It means someone has been thinking, not just dreaming. And she'd been thinking for a while. Post Care Partners started with a personal experience: her sister had heart surgery in her 20s and came home to not much. Young, otherwise healthy, perfectly capable of recovering. But surgery doesn't care how old you are. The discharge paperwork doesn't come with a support network.
She saw that gap firsthand and decided to do something about it.
Post Care Partners bridges the space between hospital discharge and real recovery: the non-medical care and support that happens at home. Not everyone has family nearby. Not everyone has someone waiting on the other side of surgery. That's the problem the business exists to solve.
Building the Identity
She came with a logo she loved. Our job was to figure out what that logo was already trying to say and build everything else around it.
From there, we fleshed out a full brand identity: voice, color palette, feel. Something that could hold up across a website, a contact form, and whatever comes next. Not something she'd need to redo in six months.
The Website
The site itself is five pages. That's intentional. New businesses don't need 20 pages; they need five good ones.
We handled the full stack through our site build and managed hosting services: domain registration, HTTPS, schema markup for search engines, and a contact form that drops directly into her inbox.
For a post-surgical home care business, the website needs to do one thing well: make it easy for families and patients to understand the service and reach out. No clutter, every page earning its place.
The Tech Concierge Part
This is honestly one of my favorite parts of what we do at Marshland. Building a website is a deliverable. Helping a new business owner figure out the stuff nobody tells you about? That's where the real value is.
She had questions that had nothing to do with her website and everything to do with running a business:
- A business phone setup that gave her visibility into calls and texts as she brought employees on
- UX research guidance: how to know whether the language on her site was actually landing with potential clients, and how to tweak it as she grew
We didn't implement either of those things. That wasn't the ask. The ask was: figure this out and give me something I can act on. So we researched both, put together a report, and handed it over as part of her package through our consulting service. She walked away knowing exactly what her options were.
The Bigger Picture
Building a website is part of running a business. It's an important part. But so is setting up your phone system, hiring the right people, building referral relationships, and all the unglamorous work that makes a business actually go.
We're not trying to be everything. We're trying to make sure the digital piece is solid so she can focus on the rest. That's the business setup approach we take with every new client.
